Perhaps you've heard the phrase "Take only pictures, Leave only footprints." This virtual workshop will focus on the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace. Or, in other words, participants will learn about minimum impact practices for visiting the outdoors.

About the Event
Perhaps you've heard the phrase "Take only pictures, Leave only footprints." This virtual workshop will take place on Wednesday, October 28th at 5:30pm PDT/8:30pm EDT and will focus on the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace. Or, in other words, participants will learn about minimum impact practices for visiting the outdoors.
We'll discuss a variety of topics including:
Planning ahead and preparing accordingly
How to properly use the restroom when there is no restroom (seriously!) or, how to properly dispose of waste
Traveling and camping on durable surfaces
How to be considerate of other visitors
